Thank you to everyone who has or is taking part in the Mad-4-May word challenge, with one week to go it’s time to post your suggestions for Just-4-June (name suggested by Jo Lawson).
It could not be easier…
Simply Nominate your word to this forum post and it may be included. You can nominate as many words as you like and if you see a word you like, just add it again... (the more times a word is mentioned, the more chance it will be used). I will then count up the number of times that a word has been added and the top 30 will be our list for Jun2013.
Please make your suggestions for ‘Just-4-June’ between now (25th) and 6pm next Thursday (30th) for them to be included. As always, if you have a word that you would like to see on a particular day, please nominate which day as well, for example: 16st Father: (for Father’s Day)
The bonus words for June will be; Birthday, Anniversary; Gemini, Cancer (star signs) and Pearl, Moonstone, Alexandrite (birth stone) so you do not need to ‘label’ those.
Well, June has some interesting things all month long... it is Aquarium Month, Candy Month, Dairy Month, Gay Pride Month, Adopt a Cat Month, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month and Rose month.... so anything along those lines would be good.

Please give us some alternatives if a lot of American days are listed, as we don't celebrate the most of them in Australia, and if we do it's not the same day, ie, Father'sDay.
@skstein Bulldog will post the final list on a discussion board. He tags the people who've entered a comment here so you should get notified when the final list is up. To take part all you do is follow the word for the day and shoot a picture that goes with the word. You can also use one of the bonus words instead of one of the words on the list. When you post your shot, tag it as instructed (usually it goes by month and year- june2013). If you want to see all the shots under the tag, select "By tag" under the browse menu and type the tag in the search box. Bulldog does a great job with these lists- you'll have fun if you decide to join in.
I got a kick out of some of Jeff Walker's days- Iced Tea Day, International Panic Day, Sunglasses Day and how could we not do Camera Day? I like Laura's "Re-processed" suggestion. As for my own ideas- I like cows, suitcase (vacations are just around the bend), road (lots of traveling in the summer here in the states, and some opposite choices for the two hemispheres- hot/cold, summer/winter, sandals/snowboots, straw hat/wool hat.
This will be my first ! I'm excited to start.

@bulldog Do appreciate that Bulldog - I tend to approach it as a bit of a challenge to do the list as posted - one which I've never succeeded in meeting! Lol Thank you for the inspiration too!
@bulldog I understand all that, but the challenge for me is to really try to do the word for the day on the day, which I've so far managed except for one day when I haad to revert to a bonus word. I'm realy enjoying this, thanks so much for doing it.
