I challenged everyone to make a collage earlier this month and it was so well received and many of you indicated that you missed this challenge and would to like to participate.
As indicated earlier this month, I am very proud of my country Canada, I live in the Province of Ontario and I know that you are proud of your country where you live as well.
Challenge:
Post your favourite photos of your country, province, state, city or territory which may include: your favourite landscape, people, place or thing from your country in a collage of 9 photos or similar display of 9 photos as seen below, of your country or your province or state or territory. TAG: mycountrycollage2 and post on this discussion as well.
You have until Friday, August 2, 2013 at which time 5 collages will be selected by Saturday, August 3, 2013 and posted for you to vote on your 1st choice. Remember to TAG: mycountrycollage2 or post here
@styru You are correct. We are posting our favourite shots in a collage of 9 of our country by Friday, August 2, 2013 for the challenge. They can be taken by you no time frame on collage required if you would like to join us.
You see, for me, I think that that rather defeats the point of a 365 project - a 365 project is 365 pictures, taken on 365 consecutive days, with no gaps.
Anything else, well it may as well be on flickr, facebook, or something.
@styru Thank you Styru, I do understand what you are saying. I just put it out there for those that are interested in sharing their country, some who are ace member use other projects not to interfere with their 365 project, I suppose it's a matter of choice. I respect your choice and commitment.
@httpgeffed Colleen these collages are wonderful, would it be possible for you to put them into a collage of 9 for the challenge. I sorry if I did not convey this clearly. Thank both of the collages for Minnesota are beautiful. Cathy
@byrdlip You collage of Washington state is so beautiful, if you have time could you update for a collage of 9. Thank you so much I especially love the mountain view. Great captures.
OK, so this is a bit of a cheat - only 8 photos not 9, and it shows how my country might once have looked - the shots were taken to show the filming of a new costume drama in the city of York, UK
@amandal Amanda this is such a beautiful collage, would it be possible display 9 photos if you have time. This is part of the criteria. I especially love the view of the city. Beautiful.
I will see if I can get around to it. It's a bummer to have to start over each time Thanks so much, lady. Wish I had seen the criteria first. I just saw that someone submitted one, liked the idea and made my own, not researching the rules. I do have a few things that I wished to include so if I have time I will do that. Love the idea to show off where we live.
@amandal Amanda if you don't have time that's ok no pressure. Just keep it fun. I do agree though it's nice to boast about where we are fun. You sure did as you included all the seasons. Outstanding.
@fishers Love this collage and history behind it and using film to display your city proud. If you have time to include on more so we can include it in the selection. I especially love the barrel on wheels it is very intriguing.
Would love to participate in this but I simply don't have time this week - so with utter selfishness I hope you do run it again sometime - it would be great to see this become a regular feature - especially as the population of 365 grows and changes constantly. - A wonderful challenge and congrats to you all for the lovely work and to you @cathrinemitch for all the work you have put in to this.
@kittikat It is nice to meet you Kitti. No worries about participating this week as this is just for fun to see our beautiful countries. I too have met so many wonderful people on 365 as mentioned on your profile and I have a vision to see their country through their eyes.
As I was so blessed from the response on the first Collage Challenge it was suggested to have a second one. I hope to host one every two weeks and will keep you in mind if the interest continues. Keep well and keep shooting.
@mikehamm Fabulous photos of San Diego, I especially love the city in gold with the refelections, great capture and thank you for participating and showing of your city.
@degarvey It was a template for PSE/Photoshot that I used, changed the title and fonts and images. Will have to see if I have the original and then google for the site I got it from.
I used picmonkey. It was nice to find something easy that worked for this. The first time I did a collage I did it in gimp and there was no form. The process was DREADFUL. I would have had more options of formats had I payed and joined, but I just used the free options. I'd have preferred a different layout, but, too cheap to pay.
@cathrinemitch Sure Catherine! This is called PicCollage And I downloaded it free on my iPad.It does not have a tidy option for 9 photos..so I had to use the "free form" option and place the photos myself.Tricky without a ruler.lol!
Anything else, well it may as well be on flickr, facebook, or something.
(still lovely shots though)

These are just a couple, but remember to upload 9 photos for the collage. Have fun, let me know if I can be of any more help.
