I love texture and comfort, so for the next mundane object I have chosen something that is the epitome of both...a BLANKET.
From the time we enter this world until we make our final bow, blankets are a part of our lives, often becoming a trusted friend that accompanies us through life. They can be simple or fancy, plush or threadbare, knitted, woven, or patchwork, but they are, as the ad goes, "the fabric of our lives." I'm sure the creative people of 365 will find unique ways to showcase this mundane but important object.
You are free to use any photographic technique you would like to use to capture this mundane object and feel free to post your entries on this thread as well to inspire others.
The starting date is Tuesday, 5 August (today), and the challenge will run for 10 days through to the end of Thursday, 14 August.
Voting will start shortly after the finalists are selected and will last for a couple of days, and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
You can take as many shots as you wish but they must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered as a finalist.
