New Mundane Challenge - Match

April 15th, 2015
Thanks to Bill @bill_fe who hosted the Mundane Strainer Challenge and to those who participated and displayed so interesting and beautiful captures. And many thanks to those who voted for my blue strainers! I was very surprised, as there have been such exceptional entries.

Well, I’m thrilled, but also a little bit terrified to host a challenge, as I have never done this before. Please do not hesitate to contact or correct me, if I’m doing anything wrong. I feel still as a shy newbie on this 365 project and the community, and English isn’t my first language, so please excuse any mistakes.
I thought a lot of any next subject for the mundane challenge. And decided for match /matches.
The subject of the new mundane challenge is MATCH / MATCHES.

As always there should be no question that the -subject of the challenge, is the star of the shot-. You are free to use any photographic techniques to capture the subject and edit it as you wish.

The challenge begins tomorrow (Friday 17th April) and will run until the end of Friday 24th April (Considering all time zones).
You may enter as many times as you like, but your entries must be taken within this time frame to be considered for voting.

Please tag your shots *mundane-match*. You may also post your shots to this thread if you wish.

Check out the entries here:

It seems it is finally time for me to try out a bit of smoke photography! (But still have the match as the subject of course!) (This could get interesting...)

Hi everyone, I'm new to 365. How do I post a photo in a comment?
April 20th, 2015
@bluefrog322 Hi Melissa, welcome to the 365 project community. This is how you can include a picture in a comment/reply:
First you have to upload a photo. Then go to the photo you want to post. Next to the star for faving, there are three dots. Click on the dots and the embed code will appear. Right click on the embed code and copy it. Then come back to this page and in the comment box right click and paste. When you post your reply the picture will appear.
Hope this helps.

@mona65 Thank you so much, Mona! I'm still trying to navigate my way around this site. I hope to participate more often in the themes/challenges.
