First i'd like to thank @iqscotland for hosting the previous challenge. I’d also like to thank everyone who voted for my piccie in the Patterns Challenge, it was very much appreciated. i'm bowled over, i never expected to win, just entered to boost the number of entrants. i admit, i am really chuffed as well as overwhelmed.. but now i've to run this one..
The new challenge starts Monday 6th March and ends Wednesday 15th March. During Thursday 16th March 5 finalists will be selected to go to a vote.
The theme this time will be 'Still Life'.
The choice of objects, whether animal, vegetable or mineral is entirely up to you.
@dreams Hi Karen, the following i have naughtily copied from Wikipedia:
"Still life photography is a genre of photography used for the depiction of inanimate subject matter, typically a small group of objects. It is the application of photography to the still life artistic style"
So, in essence, the answer would be no but... it is your project and it is for you to decide what you want to use etc.. if you wish to use the image as still life then that is your choice.. i will not gainsay it.. hope that helps somewhat.. :-)
Tagging as you’ve shown an interest in the previous challenge.
