Thank you for choosing my picture in the Challenge bw-40. I am very sorry for a very long delay in selecting new topic for the Challenge, however I had some problems with my e-mail.
The subject I would like to propose – Shapes and textures in Nature – was inspired by the art of Karl Blossfeldt ( https://www.famousphotographers.net/karl-blossfeldt,https://www.michaelhoppengallery.com/artists/58-karl-blossfeldt/overview/), who specialized in taking pictures of plants, depicting variety in their shapes, textures, showing astonishing symmetry and diversity of structures. He used a neutral background to emphasise the main object of his pictures. Thus, the new topic includes: concentrating on details, searching for beauty of particulars in Nature or – for example - looking for inspirations in Nature by the humans.
The challenge will run from 27 May until 09 June 2019 (midnight of Your time zone).
