I want to say a HUGE thank you to the people that did enter my competition, i've really liked looking at the pictures and reading the descriptions that went with them.
It was a lot harder for me to choose the final 6 than i initially thought! But, i've managed it.
{{I feel the urge to write underneath each picture why i've chosen them, but that will just make this way too long! So if you would like to know, feel free to ask (:}}
@kaylaferguson ; i chose this one over the other you did because the quote really hit home. It's one that i've got saved on my laptop actually, and i thought that you presented it beautifully, and it's such a strong message to people who are suffering from any mental illness (:

@raralauz Wow, I'm surprised I was picked! *blushes* Why me, I must ask? The biggest hidden-thing I don't know if anybody has spotted is that my pointer finger is in my mouth, and we all already know what purpose that serves when it comes to eating disorders.
@Sheral ; as soon as i saw yours i loved it. i loved how it seemed so 'dark'.. and i noticed the finger! but what i loved most about it was the words on your fingers, having struggled with different mental illnesses, i've had to encounter all the stigma that goes with them. So i loved the fact that you chose your picture to send out a message to people not to judge etc.
I'm not very good at explaining things, but i hope you get what i mean (:
@raralauz completely understandable. All the stigmas associated with mental disorders drive, or more appropriately - create this domino effect of sorts on the rest of my goings on, for me it's a form of punishing or dealing with emotions, whereas other days it's been fighting to keep food and calorie numbers from going through my mind all day. I've actually had a woman come up to me and put her hand "caringly" on my arm and ask me how I got so fat. She genuinely asked me that. I was so in shock I had no answer for her....
4 ~ I think all the final selections are excellent. However, since I follow Sheri and you, I'm aware of the special bond between you and the feeling behind Sheri's entry.
My vote is for number 1 ,but I wanted to say that I really giggled (because I liked it so much and it has a special meaning in my household lol cadbury eggs) at number 5
