Eggcellent Macro Challenge

March 11th, 2022
Thank you so much to Ingrid @ingrid01 for hosting the last macro challenge, and thank you for voting my smoky photo the winner. Congratulations to the other finalists, as it wasn't an easy subject, but so much fun!! I am so chuffed to be hosting the macro-challenge.

For this macro challenge I've chosen what I think to be a eggcellent subject, an EGG

Your egg can be from a chicken, ostrich or quail or even an amphibian, fish or reptile.
You can photograph the outer shell or the inner yolk and white. It can be raw or cooked.
To ensure inclusivity chocolate and sugar/ candy eggs can also take part!

Here is a list of the topics that have been the focus of the macro lens in the past:

Animal bits, arcs/circles,
brushes, bubbles, bugs, buttons,
candy, car, Christmas bokeh, Christmas decorations, Christmas table settings, coins, color, crafts, crystals, cupboard, cups, cutlery,
decay, drinking straws,
