Thank you to Laura @ljmanning for hosting round five of this challenge, and much appreciation to everyone who entered and voted. Architecture-5 was actually won by Zilli @zilli who is unable to host the next round, so I have been asked to step in.
This is a newer challenge created by @lumpiniman. In John’s words:
There are many buildings, be they castles, churches, temples, mosques, stately homes etc. The list could go on infinitum. Another way to classify buildings is residential, commercial, or industrial. The buildings may remain the same, however, the change in seasons and even weather is reflected in both the building itself and its surroundings.
This round of the challenge will focus on ‘entrances’. Doors, archways, gates, etc, in fact any means that are usually used to enter your chosen building. Colour, black and white, abstract etc, all are welcome!
The challenge will run from 1st June to 30th June. There is not a specified period within which photographs must be taken, hopefully attracting entries that are both new and old.
Please tag your photos: Architecture-6
Entries can be seen here: https://365project.org/tags/architecture-6
Tag as many entries as you wish, but only one photo per photographer can be shortlisted.
@tinley23@princessicajessica
Generally the rule is that the photos must be taken and posted during the time period. This challenge runs from June 1st to the 30th.
It is up to the host to set the rules so Lesley does have the choice to set the precedence to open to older photos.
@farmreporter@princessicajessica Thanks for that Wendy. I went and found the original post for this challenge, which said that photos did not have to have been taken during the time frame. I am going to stick with that, I think. I have amended my challenge blurb to include that original sentence.
