I travel by bike to the railway station, then by train to the next town and then by foot to work. I have quite a large amount of "on my way to work" shots so I won't post all of them :)
I get several great views of the Puget Sound every day as I drive home from school. I'm waiting for blue skies so I can get a shot of the mountains on the other side of the water.
@halkia Your "on your way to work" photos are fabulous. What an interesting journey. Must be very nice to take photos of these places in every season. :-)
@sparkle Amazing pictures! @halkia Nice pictures I've been working in both Leiden and The Hague, always went by train, so those pictures look very familiar! @smapp Great colours! love these pics. @emeree Been to the puget region once, a great area! @indiannie_jones Wow a palm tree on your way to work. Very exotic for me as Dutchman!
I live in SoCal and this is the view at the first red light on my 10 mile drive home.

Pretty cool thread..... Ido buses and TRAINs here in Taipei.... they are quite fast, convenient and quite cheap.... here's a view from the Train:

I haven't done any like this so far on my project but you have all just given me an idea to suggest to my eldest sons school to try and encourage more people to walk rather than drive. Thank you.
I walk to work, I have recently moved. My old place gave me a lovely walk and view of Bristol
Now I have moved my walk to work isnt quite as stunning however I do have these gems to keep me company!
rain or shine I try to make the most of my walk to work
I see this on my way to work every morning, it's captivated me for over a year now! Still trying to get the perfect shot of it (It's viewed from a bridge on a highway with no pedestrian area).
@wadey@lr86365@gkf2@chloe So many amazing routes! Thanks for all the great pictures, today I took an extra pictures, Okay there was a bit to much wind today, but the clouds looked great. Like the Dutch paintings from the 17th century! (Only the plains where not in those paintings ofcourse....)
I Have been passing these Cottages For close to 35 years now. They were along the rad to my school then to work and I'm still passing them daily dropping off my daughter at school. Now if only i had been wise enough to do a regular photo record.
I drive to work, but still manage to take some shots on my journey..

@abanana@wadey : I'd love to work where you work - looks fantastic ;).
I took a lot of shots on my bike route to university, when I first got to Cambridge, but now I try to get there faster, so I don't take photos anymore. Maybe I should start again...
This was from my very first day:

I live quite close to where my job is, and go by foot as often as possible. So all these were made on the way to or from work.
this lot, the main highway...
or on the 'back road' which is much better - more scenic & less roadworks!
And Home.
