Some of you from the USA may be interested in the 2011 World Wildlife Fund Photography Competition which started this week (22nd April). There are three categories - Wildlife, Wild Places and People in Wild Places.More information at:

Unfortunately, it is only open to those in USA, with the prizes being an all expenses paid trip for two on the Classic Polar Bear Photo Adventure provided by Natural Habitat Adventures and having their photo published by WWF.

It's rather ironic that the grand prize of a trip to photograph polar bears takes place in Churchill, Manitoba - Canada, yet Canadians aren't eligible!
