Make a self-portrait every week, based on a new theme.
The new theme will be posted on Monday.
It was so great to see all of your inspiring pictures last week, we all have beautiful skin, with live having it's influence. I love how it told us all a story.
This weeks selfies must be based on this weeks theme: Emotion!
I think we all have different emotions and they are visible on our face and in our whole body. I think you can always see a bit of the emotions of a photographer trough his or her pictures, but let's make them really clear this week!
Let's be brave and show our emotions.
And this weeks selfies are again also date-restricted. You only can take and post them this week!
You can post your self-portrait in this thread and tag it with monday-sp8.
Oh, and due to a new competition-idea, this week ends somewhere on Sunday 11 September, when i will pick the winner.
Have fun!!! I'm sure we will look honest and powerful this week.

Do you think we should make this a little bit more of a competition?
I would suggest that there would be one judge (the one that picked the theme last week) and he or she picks a winner and the winner can choose the new theme. So nothing with voting, because that will slow us down, just non-democratic but fast! But I think this way we'll all get our turn.
Or we can still do it like we've done it until now, I really wonder what you guys think...
also, perhaps we should change the tag slightly each week so it's clear to see which week the photo has been entered for. then the judge can search by the tag and see all of the entries for that week. As this is the eighth week, we could tag our photos 'monday-sp8'?
@geertje@smevvy I like the idea of tagging with the week we are up to. Like your idea for the judging / winner too Geertje. Nothing too serious, but taking it up a notch.
@debsphotos@grammyn thank you fro your reaction. I think I'll still be the moderator and post the new theme every week, the only difference will be that somebody else every week can think of a new theme. Just to keep the pressure of me and involve more people.
Here's my take. Explanation for the emotions involved is in the caption under the photo on my project. I sincerely hope the nudity doesn't offend anyone.
@aitch2803 Really moving, you're so brave to show everything to us, both naked and deeply emotional! Really tasteful! I think this also would have done great in last weeks theme!
FRUSTRATION!
When I am frustrated, I often just stop what I'm doing and put my head in my hands so I can take a deep breath for a moment. For the past few months, we've had huge decisions to make, I've had to deal with other people's mistakes and with several defective products so this emotion came to mind first for the challenge.
Posted on the 7th september .. I was feeling positive about going to university when I took this and was up for a little fun .. it was the first day I actually felt excited to leave home, before that I was dreading leaving my boyfriend and family.
