@miley89 Freecycle and thrift shops! The middle shot of mine was a camera + lens I purchased for $7.99. I got the additional lens for $3.99. :)

I ALMOST did a picture of my camera yesterday as it was it's birthday, but I didn't want to use the poorer quality camera that was my only other option. lol.

@beautifulthing It is an Argus ArgoFlex, made in the late 1940s. It was Gail's grandfather's camera.

I shot this in February last year... early on in my 365 journey... These 5 cameras range from my first digital camera (2001) the bulky 3.3 megapixel, 3X optical zoom Sony (about $600) to the truly pocket-size 4 mp, 3X optical zoom Pentax Optio to the bulky 8 mp, 12X optical zoom Panasonic Lumix to the pocket-size 8 mp, 10x optical zoom Panasonic Lumix (purchased for my motorcycle jacket pocket) to my newest purchase, the 3X optical zoom, 5 mp still, 1080p HD video, waterproof to 3 meters Kodak (about $150 – purchased primarily for snorkeling on our cruise in May). These are my choices when it comes to taking pictures (or I could even use Marvin's digital EOS Rebel), but if you look through all the photos I have taken for this project you will see that most of them have been taken with my phone... because it is the one I always have in my pocket!
I have now started using the aforementioned Rebel and would like it to be my primary 365 camera, but I still find myself reaching for my iPhone quite frequently... so quick and easy! :)

I finished my first year on Dec 31 and keep trying to quit, but have not managed to do that yet. On the 3rd I made it all the way to 9pm before I pulled out a pile of cameras and shot them with my cell phone.

I was going for a B&W with a silvery look, I took this at some over 5000k WB , it really looked way better on the cameras vga lcd screen, and in the end I felt f22 was nt enough to get all 3 canon logos in focus, I think was shot around 2.5 seconds, with a walwart outdoor flood lamp directed at the camera with a mirror to deflect (is that the right word) light into the shadows. its a bit bright but Im looking for a look that is metallic (or silvery).
