270 Original

A 1934 Leica III, with its 1935 Leitz Summar 5cm, on a 1933 desk. Incidentally, the camera owned by the main character of my novel ("I fantasmi dell'Impero", to be published in January, 2017 - but already available as pre-order on Amazon for Kindle)
Great looking camera and fab reflection!

@domenicododaro at least you can do an accurate one yourself!
October 22nd, 2016
is it your first foray into print?
October 22nd, 2016
@kali66 I couldn't. My English is definitely insufficient! And yes, it is my first publication... I'm thrilled as a kid!

Excellent. And congratulations that is some achievement. Google translate leaves me non the wiser - except that it is a historical war novel? I wish you success with the novel - oh, and fun with the camera.

Feeling very smug...as a photo gnome I recognised the camera as a Leica before reading the text. Yet absolutely compared to your sense of achievement in having your (first?) book published! Warmest congratulations, may be it a great success.

@helenhall @s4sayer @linjoyce thank you kindly! Yes it is my first publication ever, a novel with a strong (and very careful) historical background. As a newcomer in the literature world, I'm so proud to be published by one of the most prominent Italian publishers!!! 😊
