This is awesome (but I won't say more awesome than the Leica, of course!). I nearly bought a 2nd hand D3, but went with a D500 instead. Looking at this, I wonder if I did the wrong thing; this has a real snap and pop to it (and love the lens).
@ingrid2101 Thank you! I love blur in general, too! @rachelwithey Thank you! I didn't even expect all that starburst... @fauxtography365 Thank you! I think the guy walking thought I was half crazy, standing crouched under the rain with camera at eye-level. @bkbinthecity Thank you, a little in Saul Leiter style... @caseyrybeck Thank you, and Red/Yellow are the official colours of Rome! @taffy Thank you so much! @yaorenliu Thank you! I also loved the light in the branches of the tree. @scotthouston Lol, thank you very much! That's why I won't trade her in for the D810... The 20mm f 2,8 is a terrific lens! mine is really old but still a tank!
@domenicododaro The lens looks like it pairs well with the D3. I have the 20 / 1.8, which I have a lot of fun with; but I've never done anything like this (I must try).
@scotthouston It does... I start thinking it is something that goes with age: the more I age, the more I like wideangles... Maybe I will have a fisheye on my deathbed! @runner365 Thank you very much, Claes, effectively this came out better than I foresaw!
