I was going to say that your D3's shutter was broken, but maybe it looks like the late Steve Jobs may be at fault. It's a funky sort of minimal, though.
@scotthouston Actually, I was shooting an orchid in total darkness using an app named "Nightcap" that manages long exposures on the iPhone. By mistake, I hit the flash icon while I was shooting, hence the hard shadow of the orchid projected on the wall. High ISO and long exposure settings (and the fact that I still had nothing else for yesterday at 1,00 am today) made the rest: the soft feel, the cyan dominant and the decision to post ;-)
@scotthouston haha. I had bldinnernatnsome friends' place, spent a pleasant night and came back just after midnight... I had to if I wanted to stick with my proposition!
