I can't help being bothered with all this taking off one's shoes, belts, jackets and so on for the security control at the airport.

I wouldn't mind so much if the staff proved their humanity by smiling. I presume that their 'neutral' attitude is to ensure their safety from our suppressed emotions as we're processed. :-((

Well portrayed Domenico! I don't fly often anymore, but the last time, September last year, in Schiphol was awful. Proper checks indeed, even the children! I guess with these terrorist attacks they have to.

@overalvandaan Absolutely yes, they have to and we must be grateful that they do! However, taking away one's belt, shoes... they are gestures of undressing, and doing it in plain sight is something that bothers me quite a bit!
