@lenanau thank you! @fbailey 😀 @blueace thank you very much! @seattlite thanks, Gloria! @leonbuys83 thank you, Leon! @vignouse they are - and small distilleries... yes better with soda aside 😉 @jyokota thank you Junko! I always found the soda container a very interesting object in terms of shape and function!
@golftragic Sooner or later it will happen. Australia is big and far, but it's on my bucket list since long! @jyokota I think so! Not those specifically, they are not for sale, but I'm sure I've seen something very similar in form and material in a shop.
@jyokota@domenicododaro They're called soda siphons, and can be bought in an appropriate shop. You buy small capsules of CO2 which are inserted into the little bump thingo on the top opposite the handle.
@jyokota Don't know those ones Junko, but I imagine so for sure. They were very popular in the 1920s and '30s with the kind of people who drank mixed (spirits) drinks. Simply fill the bottle bit with water, and squirt into a glass (assuming the CO2 capsule is in place and still has gas in it). Modern designs (as in DD's photo) are still used to make fancy mixed/cocktail-style drinks in bars.
