Quintessential by domenicododaro

Quintessential

I shot a newly purchased Fuji Acros 100 roll with a Pentax Spotmatic and its wonderful Takumar 50mm f:1,4. Something went horribly wrong with the chemicals when developing. Low contrast, dullness, stripes, dirt and stains...
Nothing that could deny this banana leaf is quintessential, to my eye at least.
i get those kind of results quite often lol
just give it a tweak in PS

Mmmmm, very interesting, but …

I would guess that you'd done this purposefully to create an abstract. I admire your working with film. I've done this in the past and found it fascinating but to intimidating with all the chemicals.

A banana leaf with appeal... sorry for the silly pun but, couldn't resist.

@kali66 done... 😱
@golftragic haha, but? No worries, I appreciate criticism!
@taffy It's rather interesting that the long stripe in the lower part fo the frame is very similar to one of the Nik "Analog Efex" set... Thank you!
@joysabin Lol, thanks a lot!

Intriguing - hats off for film, more hats for developing.

Doesn't make me miss film! Good for you for having the energy, though!

@blueberry1222 haha, it’s ok, if you can save a few shots...

The Takumar 50mm f/1.4 is a terrific lens and favourite among my collection. I've had it since 1971 with a Spotmatic. My first and favourite SLR !
