Beauty (the Sony) and the Beast (the Nikkor zoom) and me

To finish the series, here’s - from a safe social distance - the camera and the monster. And the photographer (what were you thinking?) in Mrs. D.’s little makeup mirror.

And the story, of course.

Adventure

It takes time to understand exploring is not about landing in shores unknown, rather teaching one’s eyes to discover the unexpected hidden in every day’s plain sight.
It takes intent to learn that light and shadow are two faces of the same magic.
It takes patience to wait for things to reveal, to take their place.
It takes modesty to accept that sight comes later. And things are already there, ready to be seen.
It takes perseverance to walk the ordinary routes and look for the invisible that lies before your eyes.
It takes innocence to find the extraordinary in the mundane.
It takes courage to follow the ups and downs of fortune.
It takes trust to let your gaze rely on a blind.
It takes confidence to pursue your vision.
It takes focus to detect signals and decrypt messages.
It takes hope to see the way out of a blank wall.
It takes resilience to be aware that, after all, the game must go on.
Love your narrative...all so true.

You missed your calling in life, my friend. Your creative writing is lost in the confines of legal language.

Great finish and a superb self-portrait - very film-noir with a 1939s feel about it.
