The last fortnight was with this little, dirty cheap lens, that performs like a champion. A Pentax Super-Takumar 28mm f:3,5 in 42mm screw mount. I bought it new old stock, and its only downside is the slow maximum aperture.
On the other hand, it has perfect contrast, virtually no vignetting, super straight lines. One of the best investments in photographic gear I ever made!
Ooops, I almost forgot the story.

Stones
It’s all about will. Will can make water climb the hills, just to gush from a fountain by Bernini in the countryside...
It’s all about will and power. Building a cathedral in the middle of nowhere, challenging the clouds. Sky is the only limit. Playing the demiurge, creating something in your own image. Inventing lines and shapes and curves and towers to climb the stars, only to leave your mark on Earth, to give sense to this blink we call life.
Until the question blasts. What if all these efforts, all the making, building, sculpting, what if all these stones were but a cobweb, only different in size? Just an open question, without an answer, maybe, doubts leading straight to nowhere but to an altar dedicated to the patron deity of defeats, whom you worship, oblivious to your roots, with outstretched arms.
Nothing wrong with a dirty cheap lens - I had an old Zenitar wide angle for the last camera, it cost virtually nothing and doubled the weight of the camera but it performed so incredibly well for the seascapes...unfortunately it doesn't play well with the Olympus that I now use.
@moonbi Thank you very much! @vignouse Thanks a lot. The little round mirror is conveniently positioned on a wall perpendicular to a wall-sized mirror in our bathroom. Plenty of photo-opps, some already exploited in the first part of this year! @joemuli Thank you! @sdutoit Thank you very much! @seattlite Thank you so much! @graemestevens too bad for the zenitar. I admit this Sony is extremely flexible. @summerfield Thank you so much! Who knows, I should look for a publisher... For the shot, a principle of explanation is in my answer to Richard @vignouse @helenhall Thank you very much. Yes, admittedly! @kali66 Thank you so much, friend. @jgpittenger Thank you indeed! @pistache Thank you very much!
