King's Head Inn courtyard, Aylesbury

The King's Head Inn in the centre of town is an old coaching inn, dating back to 1455 and now looked after by the National Trust. On the right of the picture is one of the two entrances for horse drawn coaches. On the left are the old stables. Looks lovely! I wouldn't mind settling there for an hour or so with a glass of something to drink! Nice photo.

I've never been out in the courtyard. You have inspired me to go there when I'm back in the UK.

It looks an inviting sort of place, I can imagine a lunchtime or a mild evening in this courtyard!

Thank you. :-) It is nice in the courtyard on a sunny day and there's a choice of sun or shade for sitting.

Yep, could easily lose track of time sitting in there.
