Old hurricane lamp

We went to Basildon Park, a National Trust property near Reading, today. It was pleasant walking through the grounds in the sunshine even if they weren't very inspiring. I saw this old lamp hanging on a wall in what was once the stable block.

I love old things. I have an old railroad lamp I got from my mom. I plant pansies in it . Will have to take a picture one day :)
