Late starter

There are little apples forming on both the trees in our garden... and this blossom. Being something of a late starter myself, I kind of identify with it. It'll be interesting to see if it fulfils its destiny and becomes another apple on the tree. The little rainbow circles (probably caused by the prismatic effect of the lens, I'm sure there's a technical term for them?) were an accident that I rather liked.
