Fallen, drowning branch - Seeking rescue and finding - The summer sun's light

My main album shot for today inspired me to try my hand at writing a haiku for the title. It seemed appropriate.
Best viewed magnified. Lester and I went for a stroll round the lake at Black Park this morning, which is where this shot was taken. This is what the camera saw, although I did crop it.

Beautiful shot. I love Haikus. Appently the Japanese would write one , send it to a loved one who add another one to it as a reply and so it would go on... We do them with the children at school. They're nice and short for them to do then they get sent around the class for the others to add to. It's great fun! You have some lovely places to walk near you Alison.
