Sunshine on a cloudy day

We went to Blackpool in the afternoon of 5th, intending to stay until the evening to see the lights but the weather went from dodgy to worse, so we headed back to the cottage after a couple of hours.
This is a view of Blackpool beach. I've cropped and sharpened the image, but the light's pretty much what the camera and I saw.
