By air and sea

Lester offered to deliver a melodeon he had sold to someone living near Southend, rather than posting it, so that we could have a day out at a seaside resort we both like.
We had a snack lunch at a cafe housed in a building on stilts, surrounded by water at high tide. I took this through the cafe window. We had a lovely time watching the boats and gulls while we ate. Then we went for a walk along the promenade and had an ice cream. We're very easy to please when it comes to finding things to enjoy.
