Toadstools with ambition

..... 'cos they look as if they're trying to get to the top of the tree! Yes, well....... ;-)
I couldn't get the angle I wanted without all that fuzzy light stuff (technical term) happening on the right side of the trunk but this was such an amazing sight it had to get recorded in the album. I've seen lots of *bracket* fungus growing up living tree trunks, but never a toadstool on one. And here's this tree with loads of them swarming up it. Wow!

Suspect the tree isn't particularly healthy to have all those on it. Like the angle. A midget has taken the photo.
