Weirdscape

A big thank you for all the views and lovely comments on my shots for yesterday! :-)
Ok, honesty time : not a good day in terms of taking photographs. The light was not good, and despite a tour through some interesting scenery, courtesy of my long-suffering husband, I didn't take anything that did it justice. The scene in this shot wasn't bad but the light was shame-making, so I decided to mess about and turn it into something off-the-wall .
That's the windmill at Brill that I've subjected to the attentions of Paint.net. It's a post mill, which means that the tower part can revolve round a central pillar so that the sails can be kept set to the wind.

That's certainly a good effect. Like the light on the bush and sails. The windmill looks like a model. Good thinking to turn the photo around.
