Votives

These candles were burning on one of the racks in St.Alban's Cathedral, the bokeh in the background is from the flames of others on another rack. I didn't cheat and light them myself, honest!
What was strange, though, was the colour. Votives in cathedrals and churches here are usually white.
Lester and I went for a walk round St.Alban's today, mainly to get us out of the house for an hour.
