Thank you very much indeed for looking and commenting on my shots, and for the faves. They are always very much appreciated.
On Monday, Lester and I took a trip on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway (not the Bluebell Line as stated in a posting last week! Sorry, railway enthusiasts) and stopped at Dungeness. It's a strange place, there's a pair of nuclear power stations there and some houses, for employees at a guess. But the atmosphere is most peculiar and always a little bleak, even on the sunniest, warmest day.
It's not the first time we've been; we both like Dungeness but wouldn't want to live there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeness_Nuclear_Power_Station
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Excellent point of view for this shot. I love the desolation down there. Shame it is where they put a nuke.station. I would rather see a wind farm there than that monstrosity!
I really love the texture of the beach. Great capture. Nice sky too. Well done.
This does have an unreal feel. Great composition here. Love the huge beach and just that little white surf along its edge. Also it's texture and colour. The clouds also add to that strange effect. Really great shot.
