He does normally but I forgot to open the bedroom curtains today, so he didn't get his daily feed of light and went on strike.
He lives on my bedside cabinet. If I need to get up in the night he gives out just enough light to save me having to put a bedroom light on to find my way about.
It's rained here today. ALL day. A much-looked-forward-to meet with a couple of 365er chums had to be postponed and I spent the day indoors with a mass of failed photo ideas for company! Never mind - they kept me out of mischief. :-)
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Clever shot and very nicely done! Hope you get a chance to see your 365 chums eventually. We've had lots of rain lately, too. Finally had a break yesterday.
@natsnell Thank you, Nat :-)
I used a piece of picture mounting card, cream side up, and a little quartz halogen lamp - 35w bulb. It's part of a little studio box set that Lester bought in Maplins, designed for taking shots of stuff to sell on ebay. I can't see the product on their site any more, though, or I'd post a link.
I shot it in RAW and tinkered with the settings just a little until I got this.
@jenrobcarr Thanks, Jennifer. Yeah, we had a drought declared about 6 weeks ago and it's hardly stopped raining since 8-( Really miserable. Be awful if it does carry on over the Olympics.
@dulciknit We had drought here for 10 years and it was so scary as all the lakes were almost empty, so now when it rains I just feel happy. It's frustrating though when it rains so much that you can't get out and take photos! xx
By the way, Wicket Brood are dancing at The Rising Sun in Berhampstead this evening, which I think is not far from you?

It's a 40w bulb not 35 as stated.
