A reconstruction of a farrier's workshop at the Pitstone Green Museum. I took this - or these, since it's three shots smushed together* (technical term ;-) ) - while I was standing pretty much straight underneath the roof beam in yesterday's shot.
*Edit - done using Photomatix Pro, HDR processing software.

OMG this is just fabulous Alison and love the techniques although never heard of them.... will have to do a bit of research and see if I can learn something new....Instant fav ♥♥
@aromatic Sorry, Jane, should have explained better - it's 3 shots done at different exposures - one at the "right" exposure setting according to the camera's internal meter, then one lighter, one darker. the shots are merged using Photmatix Pro to get the HDR.
Thank you for your kind comments and the fav.
It's fab on close up, such a lot of stuff in there. Sounds a complicated process, well done. Quite like smushed, describes it perfectly, will have to remember this.
What a wonderful shot! Don't totally understand the technical aspect, but it sure worked!! You get an amazing sense of feeling and time to this picture.
Thank you for your kind comments and the fav.
