This is a view of the sculpture Bootstrap DNA, designed by Charles Jencks and fabricated in steel by blacksmith John Gibson. It's in Kew Gardens. I guess it had been placed by the Gum tree because it works so beautifully with the colours in the bark.
Lester and I took a picnic lunch to Kew today and had a bit of a walk but it was very hot and we got a bit over-cooked.
Thank you so much for the views and lovely comments and favs for yesterday's windmill shot - I really appreciate your time and kindness.

What an interesting sculpture - love the twists and the way they showed up in your composition. Kew Gardens was in my newspaper crossword puzzle today - had never heard of it and now I've even seen it!! Thanks 365.
What a great shot of a lovely sculpture. The colour certainly fits in with the colour of the bark. i love Kew. Did you go on the walk way above the trees ?
What a great composition, yes the sculpture and the tree are perfect together. Great pov on this, love the twisting sculpture. Spent many hours in kew gardens when a child.
That is a beautiful sculpture. Stunning effect and texture. Yes, I think you are right - the colour of the bark is a neat match with the galvanised steel. Cool. Nicely seen.
