It was a beautiful, sunny day here on Friday and Lester suggested going to Savill Garden for a walk round. We'd let our membership lapse for a while in favour of Kew Gardens but decided to throw our lot in at the Savill again. The garden is smaller than Kew but is equally beautiful in its own way, easier for us to get to and has better parking.... and the food's nicer. :)
This is a photo from our visit. Autumn is well and truly underway there now and the light was very pretty through the trees. It was a lovely way to spend a few hours.

It looks a delightful place - and I like that you have captured a bird in the frame too! A lovely composition. I'm sure Kew will be mortified to learn their food isn't up to scratch though.
You've caught the autumnal tones beautifully here. (Appreciate your concern for my absence, Alison, all is well, thankyou, just a touch of 'photographers block!')
Lovely enchanting place to spend an afternoon. You captured lots of interesting details including the couple and the little bird along with the fabulous autumn hues. This is definitely a fav for me!
