Taken using manual focus. I don't usually focus manually if I can help it. Consequently I don't get much practice.
The weather has been pretty awful here lately, not much good for getting out and about but it has made me get out in the garden and practise manual focusing. So here's a spider at home on its web.

They don't seem to mind the weather, do they? A well-focused image; it is difficult to manage with the slightest wind blowing the spider off the focusing plane.
See, you don't need sunshine to make a super photo - I've been hunting a spider web for weeks with no luck. I love the way you've composed this and the detail it has.
Goodness just caught up with all your shots, they are really fabulous; your area and surrounds are gorgeous. Loved the water reflection shot. Had to stop commenting on all your shots otherwise I will never catch up. :0)
