I went to the Sony World Photography Awards 2013 exhibition at Somerset House in London on Friday. It was very interesting but, just like the previous two exhibitions I've visited, there was too much for me to take in in one go. Can't re-visit, it finishes today (Sunday 12th). Such is life.
I took this on the way back to the underground station. They look so happy in each other's company, don't they?
They reminded me of this golden oldie : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTvhWVTwRnM

I just wondered, what is the coach and the thickness of that tree adding to the shot? A little crop might be in order. It would certainly tidy up and put more of a centre of interest on the couple. The tree is a strong feature and taking more than half out in a crop will relieve the eye and lighten the shot without taking any interest out. What do you think?
I think what makes this a somewhat special couples shot is the expression on the young mans face. We don't often see that, its mostly the openness of womens faces. Well caught.
What a lovely and happy shot. I'd leave it as it is. If you crop it, the couple would be in a different position within the photo and I think they stand quite happily where they are. I only really noticed the coach and the tree when they were pointed out. The couple I noticed first, although I do see Netkonnexion's point too.
