It was National Mills Weekend in the UK last weekend and a lot of our historic mills, both wind and water driven, were opened to the public.
There are three windmills and two watermills within reasonable travelling distance of our house and we'd intended to go to a watermill in High Wycombe but circumstances changed and we went to Ford End Mill instead. http://www.fordendwatermill.co.uk/guide.html#6
Next year, if circumstances permit, I'd like to try and get to all five mills and make a montage of shots from them.
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Fab capture of the water flow. Superb composition. The information and picture of the ford barn was thoughtful. That would be fab to get to all the mills on the day and make the montage, and just to see them all.
I really like this shot - the blurring is perfect. I love the brick coloring behind the wheel and the water inside it. You've done a nice job with this one to make it a little different.
@sabresun I think it's more to do with the revolution of sails and wheels - all that circular motion and the rhythms - probably the rhythms ; it's music.
