Saturday was my 4th 365 site birthday*, so it seems appropriate to post this image of my old friend here on that date - it and its surrounding area have been the subjects of 30 of my posts and I've come to love it.
Thank you to everyone who's ever followed/still follows my project and to all those who have looked, commented, fav'd. I am more grateful than I can say for the time you've taken to do so and for all the encouragement.
* Been around for 4 years but I've yet to complete a third project. The photography's still going strong - so much to learn, love it! - but regretfully I'm no longer able to keep up on 365 as much as I have in the past.

Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

What an interesting approach on one of your favorite subjects, Alison - a nice way to mark 4 years! This close-up is fascinating - such neat emphasis on lines and your pov here is good. I love the b&w work you've been doing.
I've always loved that windmill and this is certainly a unique angle of it......I really like it! That's fine Alison that you aren't able to be here full time...I can understand, but I'm just glad you're here. You've always been an inspiration to me. Hugs and congratulations!
Your shots are always so well thought out and interesting. Loving all the lines in this one. Congrats on reaching your 4th 365 site birthday, it's a pleasure to follow you and it was lovely to meet up last summer.
Good pov and angle on that windmill, just the right thing to celebrate with! Lots of lines, and great b/w, following your recent themes. Superb in simplicity.
looks good in mono
I assume you are staying on doing "365 your way". I do mine "my way", mainly because I like the banter and camaraderie
I could never tire of this windmill
Hope to see you soon just not sure when
