I have found your b/w photography quite good IMHO! I have a soft spot for b/w. One of the biggest reasons for my fondness was when I was introduced to the work of Ansel Adams. With the advent of color film I couldn't understand why anyone would used b/w film. That was until I saw my first print by Adams. His mastery of the gray scale made me not miss color one bit. I am starting to follow you in hopes that you continue on and challenge me to see like you do! Fav!
Not a missed stitch anywhere! Love the lines to the patterns - as Skip said above, your b&w photography is absolutely phenomenal - I love how the lines are so dominant - of course, you seem to know so well what subjects respond to this - and your pov always makes the shot so interesting. This is a really neat one, Alison.
A great pattern abstract. I love the curve. That is what makes it powerful. Your differential focus down the recession of the pattern is attractive to the eye and pulls in the viewer. Very good.
