Bracket fungus

I'd have loved to have got closer in order to make an abstract macro from the gills of this fungus but it was higher up a tree than I am tall and that wasn't possible, so here it is in its entirety. I couldn't not include it in my project.

This is mesmerising Alison. My daughter wouldn't be able to look at this as she has a weird phobia of things with holes in Trypophobia I think! Anyway she didn't get it from me so I can enjoy the amazing textures and sharpness of this image.

It's such a beautiful shape. All those lines are quite amazing to see. Superb b/w, pops. The wood behind is a good contrasting texture too.
