@leananiemand Thank you, Leana. They're wooden paver blocks on a museum floor. I converted to black and white, made a tonal inversion and tweaked it a bit.

I can see where Gena and Hamble are coming from - my first thought was wood grain, but I like their interpretation! Fantastic patterns and so good for b&w.
