This is my favourite part of Wendover. I don't know why it's called the Heron Path, I've never seen any there. It is very pretty, though. The stream running alongside the path is one of the few natural courses of open water hereabouts, the others run underground. The path goes past houses, the playing field, a wildlife meadow and the village pond. It's accessed via the High Street at one end and the lane that leads to the parish church at the other.
It was beautifully sunny when I took this this morning; it's been raining this afternoon.
