Ghoulies and ghosties etc.

The original photos for http://365project.org/dulciknit/365/2011-08-30. I've been asked how I did it:
Working mainly in Paint.net.
Invert colours on both pictures.
Flip Mr.De'ath 90o horizontal and erase background.
Plant him over churchyard picture, re-size him, reduce his opacity and merge the two pictures.
In Picnik add some stars from Space Textures.
Fiff and faff a lot with levels, de-saturation, sharpen, glow etc. in Paint., Picnick and Picasa at will throughout the whole process. Can't remember what and where!
PS I cropped the churchyard photo a bit as well.
