This is one of the corridors off the High Street in Banbury, where I went today. You're looking towards the High Street in this.
There was some building work going on and workmen were toting supplies from a stash at the rear of the shops to the front.
At the top of this corridor is a pleasant little cafe that does simple but tasty lunchtime snacks. Guess where I went for lunch? :-)

I like these little corridors you find off the main street. They always seem to have a couple of interesting shops. I went down one in Darlington last week and spent about 15 minutes in a tiny cheese looking at cheese and beer. The cheese was very nice but the beer was too expensive so I don't know if it was nice or not.
I like your composition. The steps take the eye first but then you are taken along to the bright light at the end of the street before swinging round to wonder how old the buildings are on the left of the picture. I have driven through many times but never stopped.
