This was taken in Pershore Abbey. The diamond shape in the middle is a suspended platform, known as the cage, where the bellringers stand. Access is via a steep spiral staircase and an open-mesh walkway. You can just see them on the right hand mid-point of the diamond. I can't find out how high up it is but you can see that it's a good way up. Bryan, featured in this shot : http://365project.org/dulciknit/on-the-day-extr/2011-06-25, is a keen bell ringer and has in the past rung bells here. Brave man, a lot of bellringers won't go near it .Taken on the Saturday of the Morris weekend away.
