Please read on. This is not a selfie. Our son took it. I realise that posting someone else's shots into my album is not exactly in the spirit of 365, but it's a one off and there's a special reason. It's also in my Other Photos album, not my main one.
Gareth has Down's syndrome and circumstances are such that he is unable to maintain a 365 account, but he does enjoy taking photos. I said that I would post one of his for you to see because he is proud of what he does.
I have done some editing on the shot in consultation with Gareth but the capture is his work.
Gareth doesn't get many chances to show what he can do, so I've given him a chance today.
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Lovely shot Gareth! My friend keeps a blog that she posts photos on. Would he be able to do that instead maybe? Otherwise maybe just like we did in the good ol' days and keep an album. I hear scrapbooking

Thank you so much all of you for taking the time to look at and read this post and also for the lovely comments you have posted. I'm touched by your kindness.
Gareth went back home last night (he house shares with two young women, with the help of support workers), so I phoned him today and let him know what you'd said. He was thrilled to bits and asked me to thank you for him.
Claire, thank you for your thoughtful suggestions - the scrapbooking idea is just fantastic. Gareth'll love doing that and it gives us some great ideas for his Christmas stocking. It'll also be a smashing activity to share when he visits.
Message for Gareth - Congratulations Gareth! You have captured your Mum's grin very well and have a good steady hand. I hope you have your own camera so that you can take photos regularly, even if having a 365 account isn't practical.
@bigsusan55@anitahoyle@natsnell Thank you, ladies and gent. Gareth will be coming home for Christmas week and he'll be able to see all the lovely comments you've left here for him.
A lovely idea to share his work Alison!
