Don't let it bug you! The basement was flooded today. Three inches of rain in 90 minutes had to go somewhere. The irony is that we also have a water ban as our town has a major broken water main.
Well spotted and captured with its shadow. We see these hanging on our screen doors occasionally and I have no clue what they are. Sorry to read about your flooded basement -- hope nothing irreplaceable was lost!
