shovel tree

I drove by this tree a number of times, but did not notice that the trunk is growing around a shovel until it was pointed out to me. (Thanks Barb!) Amazing and beautiful.

Nice find and capture. If we only knew the story of that shovel, why it came to be left there. We can only imagine.
