These are special times and Table Mountain has a right to "dress up". And Cape Town itself looks pretty, too. Good luck on Sunday, I assume most people will cheer for the Netherlands.
@Mirmax ... Thank you. I felt for you last night as the German team left the competition. We have a lot of respect for them, and particularly in the way they handled themselves in defeat ... none of the histrionics that we so dislike in others. Impressive men! I think there is a bigger support for Neatherlands than Spain on Sunday because they have has so many more supporters in the country, and many of us have met them. Also, because most of us speak Afrikaans, a language of Dutch origin, they don't seem as foreign as the Spanish! Either way, it's been wonderful hosting them and we've had a great party. (Now time for the clean-up!)
Wow! What a sight that would be from the city below! I love the way you captured the city lights and the dramatic lighting on the mountain. It's nice to know that it's appreciated and shared for the expense the city went to!
